Probiotics as daily support for intestinal balance, immunity and vitality

Regular use of probiotics makes sense primarily because the intestinal microbiome affects much more than just digestion, but is also the "second brain" of our body. It affects immunity, mood and overall vitality. The intestines contain a huge number of microorganisms that participate in the proper functioning of immunity, absorption of nutrients, the formation of certain vitamins, the protection of the intestinal mucosa and the overall balance of the organism. Unfortunately, industrialisation, modern lifestyle, stress, irregular diet, excess sugar, antibiotics or frequent travel lead to the loss of key microorganisms and disruption of intestinal balance. That is why it is necessary to support the microbiome with a proper diet, exercise and appropriate food supplements.
What is important to know is the following – probiotics are living microorganisms that, when used regularly, help restore and maintain healthy intestinal microflora. They have the greatest benefit with long-term and regular use, because the intestinal environment is not renewed once, but is a never-ending dynamic process. Just as the body needs regular nutrition, the microbiome also needs ongoing long-term support.
The combination of probiotics with prebiotics is also very important. While probiotics represent "beneficial bacteria", prebiotics are their food, from which probiotics grow and thrive. Thanks to this, they have suitable conditions for growth, multiplication and long-term colonisation of the intestines. The combination of both components is referred to as a synbiotic and is considered one of the most effective forms of microbiome support.
This is why the use of both the product ESSENS Colostrum Probiotics – a food supplement, and the synbiotic – Essynbio Forte are not mutually exclusive – on the contrary, they can complement each other very well.
ESSENS Colostrum Probiotics are primarily a functional food in the form of homemade "live" yoghurt. The product contains four traditional probiotic strains, prebiotic inulin and colostrum, which is a natural source of bioactive substances and antibodies. The main advantage is the natural form of consumption, support for digestion and regular daily supplementation of basic probiotic cultures through fermented food.
The second food supplement, on the other hand, is significantly more complex and targeted. It contains 29 strains of probiotics in high concentration, supplemented with prebiotics, probiofix for better attachment of bacteria to the intestinal mucosa, fermented fruit ingredients and vitamins C and D for immunity support. It is especially suitable during periods of increased stress on the body – during antibiotics, travel, stress or long-term weakening of the intestinal microbiome.
These products do not counteract each other, because each works in a slightly different way:
- one supplies live cultures in the natural form of fermented food,
- the other provides broad-spectrum and highly concentrated microbiome support,
- both also contain prebiotic ingredients that support the growth of beneficial bacteria,
- their combination can contribute to greater diversity of the intestinal microflora, which is key for a healthy microbiome.
The diversity of bacterial strains is one of the main signs of a healthy gut. Different strains have different functions – some support digestion, others produce protective substances, others help regulate the immune response or produce fatty acids important for the intestinal mucosa.
It is only important to follow the recommended dosage and perceive the individual reaction of the organism, especially at the beginning of use. In more sensitive people, bloating or changes in digestion may temporarily occur, which is a common manifestation of microbiome adaptation.
Regular care of the intestinal microflora is today not only perceived as supporting digestion, but as part of overall prevention and supporting immunity, vitality and long-term balance of the organism.
